Google Drive photo import is an optional feature for property teams preparing images for their booking pages. When you connect a Google account, Google asks you to authorise access to files you select through Google Picker using the drive.file permission. This permission covers files you explicitly share with the app, rather than general access to all files in your Drive.
The importer reads the selected photos and the file information needed to download and validate them, including file identifiers, names, types, sizes, modification times and download permissions. Photos are downloaded into your browser for preview and editing. The integration does not modify or delete the source files in Google Drive.
Selecting or previewing photos does not upload them to our photo storage. When you save in the photo editor, the chosen photos and generated thumbnails are uploaded to Amazon Web Services hosting used by Simultem. Photos may be resized for display. Saved photos can be published on the property's booking page and viewed by its visitors. We use the imported data to provide the photo import, editing and booking-page display features; we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Google access tokens are held temporarily in the active browser import. This integration does not persist Google access tokens, refresh tokens or your Google password on our servers.
Saved photos remain available for the booking page until removed. To remove a photo from the gallery, remove it in the photo editor and save your changes. For assistance or a request to delete stored copies, contact support@simultem.fi.
You can revoke the app's access at any time in your Google Account connections. Revoking access prevents future Google Drive access but does not delete photos already imported into the IBE gallery. Remove those photos separately as described above.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the changes.
